Flying DW Ranch

The Flying DW Ranch is owned by Dusty and Melissa Weitz in Viola, Idaho. Dusty is a general dentist and Melissa stays busy with Alex and the ranch. We just had our first child, Alexander, born January 11,2009. He is keeping us very busy and is already enjoying the longhorns. We began raising Longhorns in 2004 and purchased our first one's at Eddie Wood's Cowtown Sale in Fort Worth, Texas. Since then, we have been slowly expanding and improving our herd. Our ranch has been in Dusty's family for several generations and was his great uncle's dairy farm. Over the past few years we have been converting the dairy facilities to better accomodate the longhorns with a top of the line and easy to use working and health system. With both of us being busy individuals, the Texas Longhorn is the perfect breed, being hardy and self sufficient.
